Getting Started

Yes. FormHug offers a permanent free plan with no credit card required. The free plan includes up to 3,000 submissions per month and access to core features. Paid plans unlock additional capabilities like custom branding, advanced fields, and higher submission limits.
Yes, you need a free account to create and manage forms. Submitters don’t need accounts unless you enable login-required access on your form.
Yes. Both the form builder and published forms work on mobile devices. You can build, share, and review submissions from your phone or tablet.
FormHug supports a wide range of use cases including contact forms, lead generation, event registration, surveys, quizzes, booking forms, job applications, and payment collection. The AI builder (Evan) can generate a first draft from a plain-language prompt in seconds.

Forms & Fields

There’s no hard limit on fields. FormHug offers 30+ field types including text, multiple choice, file upload, date, rating, and payment. We recommend keeping forms focused for better completion rates.
Yes. Use the File Upload field to accept documents, images, and other files from submitters.
Yes. Connect your Stripe account in Settings to accept credit card payments directly inside your forms. Payment fields are available on paid plans.
Yes. Use the Collaborators feature to invite team members to your account. Collaborators can view and edit forms, review submissions, and manage settings depending on the permissions you assign.

Sharing & Embedding

Yes. FormHug provides both an iframe embed code and a JavaScript embed snippet. Both options are available from the Share panel inside the form builder.
Custom domains are available on paid plans. Contact support to set up a custom domain for your published forms.

Data & Privacy

Data is stored securely in cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit.
Yes. Export submissions to Excel or CSV at any time from the Submissions view inside your form.
Yes. We provide tools to help you meet GDPR requirements, including data deletion requests and a full privacy policy. See the GDPR page for details.
When your monthly submission limit is reached, your form stops accepting new responses until the limit resets. You can configure a custom message to show submitters when the form is closed.
